Oly's hair is special. It's curly underneath, with a layer of straight over the top. Brushing it makes it look more shaggy. Not brushing it makes it look like a birds nest.
We decided it was time to take her to a salon to get an official haircut, maybe make some sense of it.
But she was actually pretty cool about the whole thing. She got to sit on a big green frog and watch the intro to the old stop-motion animation of Fred Astaire singing about Frosty The Snowman. And she got a green sucker.
Her hair still looks like a shaggy birds nest though.

I don't see a birds nest. I know several people in the family with the curly underneath, straight on top - you can ask Brittany about my hair, she can tell you. Well and that one side is curlier so sometimes it looks like she cut one side shorter than the other side.
Aunt Margie- YES! Her hair is exactly like yours! Although hers is still very thin and wispy. Hopefully it'll thicken up soon and the curls will get a little bouncier.
