Twick-a-Tweed

When we told her she'd get candy if she put her costume on, she was finally game:

She's a raccoon! When you ask her what a raccoon's habitat is, she replies, "a fowest!". We don't have the heart to tell her that around here it's mostly just garbage cans.

And we're off!

We had a small group from the party, Oly and Ninja Michael led the way. It took 3 houses before they understood that we couldn't actually go into any of the houses. Behind Michael is Charlie the butterfly and bringing up the rear is Benjy the Puppy.

We did about 10 houses and then everyone went home to man their own doorbells. Oly enjoyed seeing big kids come to her door, and we gave huge handfuls to make up for the fact that Oly answered the door in just her diaper.
