Christmas!

Merry Christmas! These pictures are a little out of order, but they're here! Thanksgiving day, Oly's birthday and much more are waiting down the pipe to be uploaded.  Thank you for being patient.

Here's Oly with an awesome hat that my Grandma Betty (my Moms Mom) knit for my cousins Robbie and Clark that Auntie Bev sent along for the kids, there's another in complementing colors. We think they're so hip. And what else does that little elf have in her arms?  Yep, that'd be a bow and arrow from Santa.  More on that below.

Santa brought Uno!  She's pretty good at it, but obnoxiously competitive like her Papa.

Santa forgot to fill Josie's stocking so she was reeeeeeeally grumpy all day.  We had to lock her downstairs so she would spend time with us, and not just sleep on Oly's bed.

Grandma Pony got her a little music box that plays The Nutcracker and she's been winding it ALL DAY. Playing it while she dances, playing it while she naps, playing it while she talks incessantly.

Proof Mama was there:

Wynnie was in such a hurry to eat the orange from his stocking that he took a bite out of the peel.  Didn't phase him.

Black bear!  Of course he calls it a dog.

For the last 4 years, The Duttons have come over for Christmas Eve for general frivolity and gift opening!  This year Tim and Kevin made a 2 and a half pound Rib Eye! It needed to cook like a roast, it was so huge.  I can't believe there isn't a picture because it was obscene.  Ashley and I helped them eat it a little, but seriously that was dinner for the two of them.  Amazing.  Anyway back to the presents!

Ashley got Oly a Merida doll (weeks and weeks and weeks ago so it's been hiding in her closet) that we knew she would go crazy about.  She did.   Well then Santa just happened to get both Tommy AND Oly a bow and arrow suction cup set just like Merida, and it was also a hit.  We understand that it's only a matter of time before one of them shoots the others' eye out. They're 5, it's fine.

Kevin got Wynnie this little elfin sweater and it's the cutest thing ever.

Ashley got Wynnie this ridey toy and he's ready to conquer the world!

 Love these guys.

They gave Timmy a fancy knife set and he cut himself almost immediately, which he says is the best compliment.

Plus they love The Wynnie so we know they have great taste.

Merry Christmas!
