Almost Spring

Our weekends are pretty great now that it's warming up! We've been to a park at least once a day during the gorgeous weather we've been having. Here's last week at our favorite diner waiting for our food to arrive, she was exhausted with hunger:
(Thanks for the Dinosaur Pillow Silly Grandmom! Oly clearly loves it)

Yesterday we walked to the Tot Lot and Oly found a Big Kid to worship. (I apologize that I didn't get better photos). Her name was Olivia and she was as sweet as pie. She was probably 12 and was there with her toddler cousins but Oly adopted her right off the bat. She hugged her around the knees and then said, "Come on Boy!". We corrected her several times that Olivia was a girl and finally I turned to her and apologized, explaining that little kids only have two or three clues about a persons gender. She smiled and deadpanned, "same with old people. I get it all the time." Gah! She was so fantastic.

She followed every one of Oly's orders happily.

That same evening we went to our friends' The Boyles and watched college basketball with Baby Tessa. It was Oly's turn to be the worshipped Big Kid!

After days of frantic anticipation to see Tessa, she got to her house and completely ignored her.

Oly pretended to bake 3 billion cupcakes while Tessa followed her around. When the girls were exhausted because it was way past their bedtimes, we put on a movie but Tessa still only wanted to watch Olympia:
