We picked him and Papa up from the airport and went straight to a "Birfday Pahty!"
Papa Guy and our friends Adam and Denny all have birthdays the same week so we got together to celebrate! But mostly we just wanted to hang out with Baby Tessa, Denny and Danielle's 8 month old, who's the cutest, sweetiest thing in the world.
First we had some food,
Then we sang,
Then we:
After we were all stuffed with sugar, Oly jumped on the couch with Danielle and Colleen:
And read books with Denny.
The next morning, even after drilling it into her brain that it wasn't her birthday, she still opened presents from Nana and Grandpa:
And later on she tried on her Halloween Costume. This is just a sneek peek for all of you, you'll have to wait until October 31st for the full reveal.

This morning since Papa had to work, Oly, Grappa and I went to the Delaware Museum of Natural History to see........
We've had a blast so far while David's been here. While she waits for him to get up in the morning she paces the house saying, "Where mah Grappa go?" (Somewhere along the line she picked up a Louisiana accent.) And every single step she takes, no matter where she is, is followed by, "'Mon Grappa! 'Mon!"
Kissing a deer statue:
And a harpist in the Millers House who was playing lovely music that everyone was ignoring. Except for Oly. He finished a song and she clapped and yelled, "Yaaaaaaay!" He told her that she made his day. So he let her take a few strums. She's a natural. He asked us to promise to buy her a harp if she wants one some day.
This morning since Papa had to work, Oly, Grappa and I went to the Delaware Museum of Natural History to see........
DINOSOARS! (She has a very distinct way of saying it, but I can't figure out how to spell it. Let me think about it for awhile and I'll get back to you.)
The treehouse exhibit had been replaced by interactive dinosoar video games that she was WAY too young to get.
The coolest part was this computer game where you paint pictures of dinosoars. This video was taken early on, she improved dramatically in the 15 minutes we sat there. It blew us away. This kid can use a computer!

Oh Grappa how lucky you are to
be there with Oly ( and her
parents too ) and Tim and Hallie's
friends.....I didn't think Oly
could get more adorable but darn
if she hasn't. What do you think
Grandma Pony?
What a talented girl! I love the picture of her looking up at the elephant. Chris is now the pumpkin breeder for Sakata America and if Oly was here, we would take her to his pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin. He has from little tiny ones to ones that Oly could sit inside. Our neighbors have brought their children and Steph and Rhett and kids and Gary and Christine and Chris Sessum and Zachary came last weekend. Of course the frogs are pretty neat too!
