103 Degrees

On a day as hot as this, there's not much to do except finger paint in the shade and hang out in the turtle pool.

This is one hot squirrel:

Love the lipstick, Oly!!

Any chance we could get some original art? :)

Was she in the pool before or after the painting?

After. That's where I gave her a 'bath' (as well as myself).

I love the paint all over her feet and toes! She is concentrating so hard and appears to know exactly how to squeeze more paint out of the bottle. And I thought 93 was bad here today! Poor squirrel!

The squirels lay totally flat when they're hot, it's like they've been deflated!

We've been keeping a lot of her "awt" and sending it out to Patrons would be a good way to save it without filling filing cabinet after filing cabinet. I think you've got a good idea there Aunt Inkin.....

Finger Painting was interesting; she loved receiving new paint onto her canvas more than she actually liked making shapes with it. I'd quirt 10 little blobs of paint and she'd swipe her finger through each one and then ask for more. Greedy, she is.
