4 Months

He's 4 months already!  We went to get a check up the other day and he weighs.......

19 lbs, 9 ounces.  That's 98th percentile (up from 96th at his last visit) and his height is the 86th percentile.  They didn't mention the specifics of his head circumference other than it was "big".

He's our happy little guy, always smiling and giggling.  He's so large that I'm feeling a little cheated out of my 'infant' days, since he's bigger than Janie who's a year older than him.  But he's the nicest boy so he can get away with anything.  He makes the 3 of us soooo happy!

Big Guy

WynnieCat:

Doesn't he look 2 years old?

That's him next to the length of my leg.  Humongous.

Cuuuutest little chubba hands.

Summer Rain Storm

"Oh the rain is holding off!  Let's all walk to the farmers market! It's sooooooo hot but we'll walk anyway."

"Ok, we got our bread and pasta and our gourmet popsicles, ok let's walk home!"
"Oh I just felt a drop....."
"WOAH!"

The babies were unimpressed but the big kids and mamas had a blast and thought the cool rain felt AMAZING.

Roll Over

Here he is after his second time rolling over!

Who Are You Calling Fat?

You Wynnie.  I'm calling you fat.

Who else do you know that has dimples below their eyes because their cheeks are so big?

Beer Fest Time

We spend all sunny days doing this:

With this happy guy wearing this:

One of the biggest holidays in the town of Media is Beer Fest, a party and beer tasting put on by Iron Hill Brewery.  And every year everyone stumbles back to Third Street to Ashley's parents Mersie and Poppy's (they have names [Merill and John] but we all just call them by their grandparent names)  And I mean everyone.  Even the head brew master from Iron Hill shows up, and that's about as serious as royalty can get here in Media. I took terrible pictures, most just of people holding Wynn.  And I tried to get some of Oly and Tommy swinging on the huge tire swing in the yard but you'll see I was unsuccessful there too:

Here's Maddie, half of the babysitter known as "MaddieAndDevon" who's 24.  (Actually they're 12 year old twins but math is math.)

Here's Carley snuggling up:

You know this guy:

I didn't even take any pictures of the beer!  Or of the roaming band of children playing baseball, hula hooping, or eating cookies!  Guess we'll have to wait for next year.

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day! An amazing breakfast made by Timmy and Oly, as always:

This is my favorite picture of the morning.  Stuffing my face.  And no, Wynnie is not gnawing on a slice of bacon.

Rolling up a chocolate crepe:

Oly made this wonderful kennel apartment for her dogs:

And then we went to the garden at Rose Tree, played outside, and I took a nap while Tim and Oly went to the park.

THEN.....
Timmy made me wooooooonderful clams (on the grill!) with onions and tomato sauce and red wine:

Did I mention he bought possibly every bouquet of tulips that Trader Joes had in stock?  This is fewer than half of what's in our house right now:

Those three really know how to make me happy!

Early May

Here are a few pictures of Wynn being sad, sticking out that lower lip.  Just keepin' it real.  Although I decided a week ago to try and get a picture of him crying, it's tricky!  People, he seriously doesn't even cry every day.  He's so happy and easy going.  But isn't he CUTE when he's sad too??
