Papa Guy

Papa was away last week for 4 days- far too long for Oly Girl.  When he got home we went to Iron Hill for dinner and she had to be touching him at all times.  They played her new favorite game, 'Papa you catch my hands and hold them tight while I try to wiggle away'!  A simple girl.

Princess

My Mom found the princess dress that my Grandma Mac sewed for me for Halloween when I was 4!  She sent it and it was like Oly could smell something pink and frilly in that box- she couldn't wait to put it on.  Doesn't she look gorgeous?

She can go about 5 feet by herself now!

We joined a local pool this summer.  They don't have places to swim for a one-time fee around here (like Clear Lake etc), you have to become a member somewhere if you want to get out of the 100 degree heat.

Oh, and they have water ice there.

She's too big to cuddle under just the lamb skin anymore, she needs the rabbit skin to cover her feet.

She and Ruth joined a library story time and last week's theme was Ballerinas.  Oly was inspired to dress for the occasion.

Sleepover

Ashley, Amelia and I all found ourselves with hubbies out of town on business a few weeks ago, so we decided to do something crazy.  Have a huge sleepover at my house with all the kiddos.  I took very few pictures, I'm really sorry.  But let me sum it up for you: nobody ate a good dinner, but we still walked downtown to get chocolate, nobody slept well, but the kids are begging to do it again asap. 

Just put your ice cream cone down on the table while you have a sip of water.

Janey did not get any ice cream. 

Amelia was actually thrilled for Ruth to have covered her princess dress in chocolate, because it meant that she's actually have to take it off for the first time in ten days!  

Tommy wore Oly's pajama shirt, new blue skirt, and old sandals for the occasion.
