Getting Too Comfortable

We Did Not Get A Dog

But we're fostering a puppy for a week for the SPCA.  They got a "shipment in from Kentucky" and the pups need to be quarantined for a week before they join the others at the shelter just in case they're carrying kennel cough or Parvo virus.

Oly's actually having less fun than we thought she would.  She's jealous of the attention that Tim and I have to give him, and even though he's the mellowest puppy I've ever met in my life, he's just unpredictable enough that she's said a couple times, "He just makes me nerbus."

But he's super snuggly. The shelter named him Blue, which is pretty perfect since Oly has a stuffed animal that Lucy got her named Blue, my Mom taught her an old country song about a dog named Ol' Blue, and when she was a baby she looooved playing with Allisons dog Blue

He laid on us while we watched a movie and then slept in his crate silently allllll night.  But this is information I should be saving for his Petfinder.com profile!

Tub Time

I bought some cheap shaving cream and colored it with food coloring for a fun bath time mess. I'm just realizing the possibility of it staining the tub.

Tommy Time

We were away from Tommy for far too long and when we got back to Media he's the first person she wanted to see.
It took a little while to meet up with him, what with her crazy fevers and the fact that his Mama was busy doing this:

(Janie, almost 2 weeks now by this posting)

But he was worth the wait.  He came over and they immediately went right upstairs, changed clothes, whacked each other over the head and made each other cry.  Once that was out of the way it was time to dance:

Pictures not enough for you?  Try the video:

We went out to lunch at Iron Hill

And there was plenty of roughhousing.

It was a freakishly warm day so we went to the park

And after that it was time for naps

Regrettably un-photographed was the little mud children they turned into while playing in the yard, necessitating this bath:

And just for fun a really cute picture from a long time ago of some previous shenanigans.

Holiday Mishmash

There are so many pictures from our trip to the Northwest for the holidays, that I've been overwhelmed about putting them up and I've put it off.  But no more!  This is officially the longest post ever, completely random and in no order.

Here she is cuddling with her Uncle Jeff listening to a new Christmas story:

The 25 minute mustache:

Playing with my friend from High School Leisha's daughter Helaina (they were each wearing sweats when we arrived and promptly ran upstairs to change into beeeeeoutiful dresses from Helaina's closet)

Oly was heartbroken when we had to go home.

Building train tracks at Grandpa Mac's house

Checking things out at Uncle Jeff's

Allison, she's ready for her first ski lesson!

On a ferry to Vashon

Trekking around REI with Grandpa Mac

It has happened.  We have to buckle up her guys.

Christmas at Aunt Margie's

Ok.  That's over.  Somehow there are no pictures featuring Niki and soon-to-be Cousin Flower, no pictures from Grandma Pony and only one tiny one of Aunt Dana.
