Gardens Update

New annual bed we filled in along the other side of the driveway:

Oly's First Sushi

Technically it was supposed to be Mama and Papa's sushi appetizers, but she ate all of it.

Then fresh mint ice cream for dessert.

Reading-Farmer Weekend

"Are they here yet? Are they here yet? Are they here yet?"

Once they arrived, we settled right into it:

We played around outside, and Jay took a look at the giant tree that fell over in our yard a few weeks ago.

Lucy pushed Oly on the swing:

We took a walk downtown:

Both kiddos napped:

And then it started to POUR!

Back in and dry, the princesses played catch:

And read books:

Saturday morning we went to the Grist Mill and played for an hour while we waited for our own private tour. I didn't take ANY pictures of the mill this time, we were too engrossed. (here are some from our first tour with Grandpa Mac when Oly was 1). You'll just have to settle for pictures of our adorable children:

Oly playing soccer:

Lounging Lucy:

Then we played a game that fascinated the kids so much they would have done it for hours:

Throwing sticks off the bridge, watching them go over the water fall and into the pond:

After naps we played mud pies and naked painting:

While Jasper mowed the lawn:

Well, that's about it for pictures from our camera. Amy has many, many more so be patient for her post about the weekend. I'll leave you with this one, one of my favorites:

More Paaaaaaaandemonium!

One of the times that I'm at my most relaxed is when my house is full of 14 children and their Moms. What is wrong with me?

We can kill a box of Dunkin Donuts coffee and crate of Munchkins in no time.

Big Girl Ponytail

This picture is not for the faint of heart:

Bye, Bye Lakehouse

The last full day at the lakehouse was another blast:

We went swimming at their Y which had an awesome kiddie pool, complete with slide!
Thinking about it....

Still thinking about it.....

Did it!

But the time came to say goodbye to Lilly:

Take off Ashley's boots:

And pack up the car. The four of us drove back up to Media together:

They are now officially honorary siblings because they were completely rotten to eachother during the car trip. I kept waiting for one of them to put their finger 1/2 inch from the other's face and say, "I'm not touching you! I'm not touching yoooooooooou!"

Born To Be Wild

This morning was a huge milestone! Tommy and Oly both went to their first movie! In an IMAX theater! In 3D!!!!! We saw Born To Be Wild, enough said. Surprisingly both kids sat still for the entire 40 minutes, and yes, each of them reached out to try and touch an Orangutan. I mindlessly tried to blow a Kenyan fly out of my face only once.

After the movie we went across the courtyard to a Please-Touch-Like-Museum for fire fighting,

and HOCKEY:

We had two exhausted babies after that. Tommy had a much more comfortable nap because he used his new foam rocket launcher as a pillow.
